Let us dive back into our topic of “Being Citizens of Heaven and Earth”. I really want to impress upon you the importance of reading these scriptures: James 4:4-6 and 1 John 2:15-17. Please do that before listening to this podcast. If you and I are more concerned about our country than we are about our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, we have become “adulterous people” that He speaks of in James. After all, we are supposed to be in love with GOD, not the world we live in. Politics is heating up big time in this nation as election day nears. You and I better be careful! I have to be careful that my love for this country does not overshadow my love for Jesus. The moment that happens, I become an adulterer. Right now Satan is working big time through this Presidential election, Christians are arguing and debating about who to vote for and why. All that arguing and debating is resulting in damaged friendships and damaged churches and damaged attitudes. Worst of all, the Cross of Jesus Christ is being shamed.

What are you writing? What are you saying?  Does it bring honor to God and His Church or does it bring shame?

Do the words you write demonstrate you Christianity or do you look like every other non-believer in our society?

This has become a huge problem in many if not all churches! It needs to be addressed by Elders, Deacons, Pastors, Youth Leaders and Teachers!
