Florida Governor Warns: “This Storm Will Kill You”
Pastor Dewey Moede
We are in our war room of prayer, praying for the safety of all!!! Our friend, Meteorologist Ken Widelski just told me that 264 people have died in Haiti…….. Ken also said winds will be north of 120 mph on the Florida coast.
Hurricane Matthew grew again into a Category 4 hurricane overnight as it bore down on Florida’s east coast. It is the strongest hurricane to approach the U.S. coast since Hurricane Katrina.
Up and down the Florida coast, residents have left the comforts of home for the safety of shelters or hotels, near and far, in anticipation of a hurricane that could upend their lives.
Nettles Island is an evacuation zone but some residents there, like in communities up and down Florida’s east coast, refused Thursday to leave their possessions behind.
Roads completely washed away. Houses upended. The Bahamas took the latest punch from a storm that has killed more than 100 in Haiti and devastated parts of Cuba.
From hotels tripling their rates overnight to six dollar-a-gallon prices at gas stations in the evacuation areas, officials say some businesses are exploiting the storm for a big payday.
