Israelis were preparing to observe Yom Kippur Tuesday evening. Security forces have ramped up operations in Jerusalem following Sunday’s deadly shooting attack, while the West Bank has been placed on a general closure for the holiday. Police presence has also been increased in the Old City, as large numbers of visitors are expected at the Western Wall.
