Intertwined in Passions, by Karen Rowe November 13, 2016 Part 3

Once again you are welcomed here, as I extend again my love and prayers in Christ to you through the heart of Hope in Today Ministries. Again, I offer my sincere appreciation to FGGAM for this opportunity to post this and we appreciate your time in reading this.  Once again, let me begin with I am happy to write to you today, because I believe in your value as a child of God.  Whether you know it or not yet, you are loved by God.

From Part One:

From Part Two:

There may be things that only a mother’s love would be passionate about, but we have to be careful not to let our protective barriers inflict pain in what God is joining together in a God Ordained marriage.  By this, I could describe, as if a mother took our child to a restaurant and many bowls of soup were poured for your daughter; and she gets to choose which bowl she wants –a mother’s love will inspect that bowl to be sure it is the best one possible –not too hot, not too cold, and no flies have landed on that particular bowl, when in fact all the bowls of soup are in the same environment with each other.

The point is, we love each other with compassion –which is the nature of God we are created in.  Yet, is the living Christ being represented in us?  We MUST remember we needed / need Jesus too; and God loves us ALL (way too much) to let us stay the way we are!

Let’s love each other by being slow to speak and slow to anger, but quick to listen and pray.   Choose to read the Bible more than the rants and news.  Let’s learn how to 1st keep our own heart pure in God’s eyes, by loving each other, with good fruit from God’s tree.  And, then as we grow in our knowledge of God’s Wisdom, let’s learn NOT to become an obstacle to another person’s seeking relationship with God.

In other words, an obstacle is a thing that blocks one’s way or prevents or hinders progress –in a way that a blood clot is an obstruction to the circulation.  Let’s not become a hindrance that keeps back a person’s seeking relationship with God, by interfering and delaying God’s good work in 1st ourselves, and also in those around us.  Let’s unite, pray and love; and be careful not to become an impediment that interferes with a person’s seeking journey in this life.  In a life that we all need God’s Word; yet, we need to remember that God reveals to us in His time.  Let’s just seek God 1st; and learn not to become an obstacle to another person’s seeking relationship with Jesus.

Yes, there is a Way –God’s perfect way.  And our thoughts matter to what we seek.  Yes, obstacles are set before us by the enemy of God to block, chain, clog, cramp and crimp, relationships; the very relationships that are most important and valuable to God.

In this world, we need to think more often of what Jesus has done for “whosoever might believe” to reach our relationship with God; and with each other in Christ –purposely seeking God’s thoughts before we speak on, or react on, based on what we are passionate about.

Closing with Scripture and a Prayer:

The point is found in Proverbs 21:2 (NIV)

A person may think their own ways are right, but the LORD weighs the heart.

Dear Father as we look in the mirror, let us smile knowing the love of Christ who lives in us.  I pray that we may seek to be productive in your Kingdom with the good fruit of the Vine.  Jesus, thank you for holding us tight, as we are grateful for the pruning, that even though it is hard to change, the blessings of truth are revealed to us with a tremendous love that is for us to grow in our relationship with our Creator, and the ONE who chose us from the beginning to love us.

God, oh my how our heart glows on fire for you; that you chose to love us, and that you desire to have a relationship with us.   Help us to become fitting ourselves; and to pray for those who we see and hear in the world that also need you –that we know it is YOU God, not us, who changes a heart, just like you have changed mine; and are continuing to change mine even as I type this prayer.

Forgive me of my trespasses as I have also forgiven those who have trespassed against me.  Help us not to take it personal when others disagree.  Help us to pray for each other as we grow in that vine together remembering that JESUS, you are the Vine and we are the branches.  Thank you for understanding that we don’t like to be pruned, but as a God, who is all-knowing, and a Father who knows best, you prune us anyway!

The reward is great; and the sacrifice is really not that big.  The surrendering of our heart just looks that way, when we look for you through the fog.  But, when the sun breaks through, then we understand what we only trusted in you by faith, that YOU are the Substance of things hoped for and YOU are the assurance of things not seen.

Holy Spirit you are welcome here.

I pray this is a blessing to America and to those all around the world. The Holy Spirit is not a color, race, gender, nor culture; –the Holy Spirit is ONE.  Lord Jesus, we come to God in your anointed and powerful name and we ask the Father to protect our leaders and impart divine Wisdom to them.  We ask for unity as far as people are willing to come, but we ask for you God to be in control of our life who believe and we ask you to be the Wisdom from Heaven that leads our great Nation back to you.

I, for one, stand firm in humility, grateful that I know the power “In God We Trust”.
Love in Christ,
