Sen. Jeff Sessions has been named attorney general under President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, two sources familiar with the decision confirmed to NBC News. In February, the Alabama lawmaker became the first sitting senator to endorse Trump during his campaign. His name was also floated as a possible running mate for Trump.
