Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement Tuesday that Israel is in “close contact” with Russia as the Kremlin launched a massive new military offensive in Syria. He said this contact was conducted “so there will not be any collision that no one wants between the IDF and the Russian Army.” He added “The reality in the Middle East is changing very rapidly, and not necessarily to our detriment. The most important thing is that we will be very strong.”
