It looks like today we are going to wrap up our sermon series, “Filled UP, Not Fed Up!” The series has been based on Hebrews 4:12-13. Today let me share with you: The Word of God is Penetrating and The Word of God is Discerning! When we are involved in sin, or walking in a different direction that we know God wants us to, we avoid HIM and HIS WORD because we don’t want to hear those words, “Something is seriously wrong!”
We need to remember, that same Word of God that is able to pierce into our lives and reveal the spiritual cancers that we would rather avoid, is the same powerful word of God—that “Double-edged sword”-that can heal every inch of our soul! Amen!
