Cancellations…

A winter storm warning was announced yesterday for our area. My first thought this morning was, I wonder what has been cancelled for today. As I sit to write my prayer this morning, I just couldn’t help thanking God for cancelling the debt I owed, through His son Jesus Christ. We all owed a debt we could not pay.

Isaiah 1:18 says Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.

As I look out my window, I see white everywhere. Yes, that’s what Christ has done for us. He puts us on a journey that leaves our past behind and we press on toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

Father, thank you for the freshness of the white snow. Thank you for forgiveness of our pasts and for making our lives into more of your image. For anyone that needs a new beginning, today is your day.

You said there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1) May many receive it today. Amen

Talk with Him today, leave the past in the past and press on. Begin to prepare for greater new beginnings in 2017.

Have a blessed day beautiful people, press on.
