Trump did not win the White House without the hand of God heavily involved. Trump is not the savior of America, but I am convinced if God’s people diligently pray for him, he can be greatly used of God. (I Timothy 2:1-3)
I am not being pro-Trump in this moment in time, but continuing to be both pro-God and pro-Church. I have felt God sharing a need for the American Church of our LORD Jesus Christ. We saw a greater movement of prayer leading up to this election, and possibly even more so on Election Day itself. However, the momentum of that praying is waning somewhat, and this concerns me. The Church in America still needs to experience a power changing revival. Before this will occur she must produce genuine repentance before our holy God. Again, I have felt the Spirit of God stirring something in my heart far bigger than I am.
Today I have had a few things and persons confirming the need to share what I sense the Spirit saying. I have seen where other pastors and churches in the nation are sensing and preparing for a similar movement of the Church. If you and I will humble ourselves and do our part, we may see an act of God among us we have only dreamed and prayed about thus far.
January 20, 2017 is the day set aside for the exchanging of presidential powers; Inauguration Day. It is known for its great celebrations and the taking of the oath of office. I strongly feel today that God is encouraging, perhaps more particularly, calling, Christians over this land to join together in heart and soul in various venues and activities, for the purpose of a National Day of Prayer and Fasting leading to repentance and massive cleansing.
For this to take place it will require that the concept or idea be shared, encouraged, and planned by all faithful believers. I long for revival of the Church leading to another great awakening, don’t you? Pray about it. If God leads you, do what you can to get the word spread abroad. Perhaps Inauguration Day 2017 shall be remembered for the day God brought back power into His Church.
