Let us start our sermon series on Christmas with, “Waiting for Christmas” based on Luke 2:21-38. Do you remember the excitement you felt as a child? I could hardly wait!!! To this day I start telling people Merry Christmas on July 4th!!!! Just kidding, no maybe on July 5th!!! LOL! Kids mark it off their calendar as the days go by, They count the hours, They lay awake at night, thinking about what they might receive. Man, I sure did when i was a kid! Waiting, dreaming and hoping!!! Anticipating great things! Let me share with you some letters to Santa over the years. In my younger days I would play Santa on the radio and take calls from Children.
