What Will You Do?

A few days ago, I received a note in the mail from a friend I visited while she was in the hospital. The note thanking me for my prayers and a little saying she lives her life by. I wanted to share it with you today.
Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God.
Father, do a work in each of our hearts this Christmas, as only you can. Grace to forgive the people that have hurt us. Help us to renew our minds with Your word, and put a fire in our soul like never before.
Give us assignments bigger than ourselves (God assignments). May we be found faithful with whatever you ask each of us to do. Amen
