Good Morning Beautiful People…Nigeria, We Are Mourning With You
Since August 1, 2016 about 1,000 people have been killed in Nigeria. The president of CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria) has declared today a National Day of Mourning. One of my prayer partners is from Nigeria. She has family and friends in Nigeria. Today Christians were directed to wear black, fast and pray for the victims of these killings and their families. Christians were asked to pray that God who delivered the Jews from Haman, would deliver Christians from Haman’s in Nigeria. An injustice to one is an injustice to all. Please join your faith for Nigeria today.
Father, you said to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. (Romans 12:15). We mourn with the people of Nigeria today. God we ask you that you would comfort the families. Today all across this globe, Christians are joining together and drawing the blood line. We thank you Lord you have the final say. Lord, we ask you for revival in Nigeria. May the Lord God Himself show Himself strong in this country.
We pray for the leaders, the president and all who make decisions for this nation. We pray for wisdom from on high. We pray a ring of fire of safety around this country. We say no more. Violence, killings stop in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray peace.
Father, you see what is done in the dark, we ask you to expose it before it happens. You are the God that sees it all. God send them help. Whatever Nigeria needs today, you know it before we even ask. You said to pray like this: Matthew 6:9-13 Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Thank you for being Nigeria’s deliverer today! You are a God that hears and answers prayer. We give you thanks. Amen
