UPDATED at 4:14am 1/16/17: Update on Baby Gabrianna: the ENT (Ears,Nose,Throat) Specialist used a scope in her nose and throat and said her Epiglottis (the flap that is by the larynx that separates the wind passage from the food passage) is extremely irritated. They are thinking this might be caused by GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) The ENT Specialist also said that Gabrianna has extreme nasal mucus buildup. She will be having a swallow test on Monday to determine if the Epiglottis is functioning properly. She had also been holding down her food since earlier a Sunday morning and she has gained 45 grams or just under 2oz. weight which is great news.

Thank you all for praying for our 2 month old granddaughter baby Gabrianna. They are giving her breathing treatments which is opening up her breathing passage. She is incredibly dehydrated which has kept them from finding a vein to put an IV in her. She is in really good spirits but very hard for her to breathe and hold any food down. She lost 2.4lbs in the last eight days. They are waiting for an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist to see her to try and determine why she can’t hold down her food and why they can’t seem to improve her breathing. Your prayers are appreciated greatly.
