I love to follow God! I fear to be away from God! This past summer God took me back to Windom, Minnesota, my hometown to do a Revival! What a gift! I got to preach in the auditorium I used to clean as a custodian! The BARC is such a wonderful facility! As we made plans for the Revival in Windom, Paul Dokken, who gave his outstanding testimony at the Revival, suggested that I call Pat Fisher and ask her to play the piano at the Revival! I remembered Pat, but I had not seen her in at least 40 years! Paul told me, “Nobody plays the piano like Pat!” When I called her it was like talking to an old friend, good memories of Windom and she knew my family! She even paid for the renting of the grand piano! Man, can Pat play for JESUS!!!! I have never heard the piano played as well as Pat did! Such wonderful gospel music! Pat really ministered to us all through her music Amen! Her music made me weep tears of joy! Amen!
Pat, Mike and I have become best friends! One of the many blessings that has come out of the Revival. Other blessings from the Revival are the weekly prayer meetings at Butch and Pat Dunnick’s, the ongoing radio program on KDOM and KWOA and the scripture ads in the Citizen.
Pat and Mike Fisher have supported the efforts of FGGAM since the first call to Pat. Now I ask you to pray with us for renewed health for Pat as she has been sick for about 5 weeks. Pat told me today that she feels better!!! Been praying to hear those words! Please pray for continued healing for Pat, for peace and comfort, in Jesus name, Amen!
I pray for the day I come back to Windom and hear Pat play the piano!!!! This time I pray Sharon is able to come!
Pictured is Pat playing the piano at the Revival and Shari Johnson playing the fiddle, and nobody plays the fiddle like Shari!
These are the scriptures that come to my mind as I write this post about Pat………
Psalm 105:2
Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!
Psalm 150:1-6
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! …
Ephesians 5:19
Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,
Psalm 104:33
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
Psalm 95:1
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
