I could not sleep much last night….The Lord has shown me again today that America is at war with itself. The President and the Judges and Courts are at war with each other. The division among the Citizens of our country is widening, not decreasing. My heart breaks for my country with so much division and hate. I am very concerned for the future of my children and grand daughter. I kept thinking of the world our grand daughter is growing up in versus the world I grew up in, made me very sad. Heard of another Church split, Churches are not immune from this war of darkness. That is why we keep our eyes on Jesus and His ways, Jesus is the only answer.
Yes, I know very sobering thoughts to start the day…but that is what the Lord has put on my heart. That is why it is so important to remain salt and light to the world and carry out the Great Commission, but do it in the love of Jesus.
From Oswald Chambers: Godliness with contentment is great gain.
1 Timothy 6:6
The root of faith is the knowledge of a Person, and one
of the biggest snares is the idea that God is sure to lead
us to success.
America is not letting God lead it.

Hate brings destruction to individuals, families, Churches, communities and Countries.
America needs a person to unite the Country! That person is our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen! Until America sees that as a whole, it will continue to slide into a black hole.

Why do so many Churches no longer post the Ten Commandments?

What is it with all those Bomb threats at Jewish Community Centers? The destruction of Jewish Cemeteries? This is not the Country I grew up in!

From Dr. Jim Denison:

Senator leads 13 African leaders
to Christ

Dr. Jim Denison | February 22, 2017
Barry Black is the acclaimed chaplain of the US Senate. As significant as his ministry is, he recently told the Christian Broadcasting Network that there are lawmakers who “dwarf him spiritually.” For example, “We have one senator who has led thirteen African heads of state to Christ.” He would not name the senator but noted that many others are making a difference for Jesus as well. Now consider this Time magazine headline: “Why Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel Aren’t Having Sex Before Marriage.” The model and Snapchat CEO became engaged last July after dating for over a year. But they are waiting to have sex until they get married. “My partner is very traditional,” Kerr explains.

A senator wins thirteen African leaders to Christ and the secular media ignores him. A famous couple chooses to be biblical about sexuality and their virtue makes headlines. What does this juxtaposition say about us?

Janet and I were in Austin last weekend. We ate breakfast at the Carillon, a restaurant on the main entrance to the University of Texas campus. There we found a series of quotations inscribed on arches supporting the roof of the restaurant. This statement by Stephen Austin, the “Father of Texas,” especially struck me: “A nation can only be free, happy and great in proportion to the virtue and intelligence of its people.” Note the order on a campus famed for its academic standards: virtue before intelligence.

Sadly, our culture seems not to agree.

According to Gallup, the number of Americans who accept same-sex marriage, having a baby outside of marriage, sex between unmarried people, cloning humans, and polygamy are all at record highs. Not surprisingly, 73 percent of Americans say our moral values have declined.

In Exodus 1, two midwives refused the pharaoh’s order to kill baby Hebrew boys. Reading the story, I was struck by the fact that the two women were named while the pharaoh was not. By defying his order, Shiphrah and Puah made an impact on eternity surpassing that of the most powerful man on earth. From their obedience came the Jewish nation that would have been exterminated if they had not been so courageously virtuous.

In Jeremiah 6, the Lord laments concerning his people, “From the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely” (v. 13). This metaphor is especially striking: “Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush” (v. 15). Could he say the same of our culture today?

What should we do? “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls” (v. 16). Reject the novel for the virtuous, the popular for the godly.

Do this now and you will be “like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built” (Luke 6:48). The time to lay the foundation is before the storm strikes.

In short, choose virtue before you need virtue. The culture may not agree, but the Lord will be honored. Which matters more to you?

Why is the World full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

I wrote this yesterday……..

Dear FGGAM family,

I saw a video last night of protesters blocking an ambulance in Chicago. I got very sick to my stomach. This is not how God intended us to be.I weeped at this sight. The Police had great patients with the people protesting. I remember back home this happening in Mankato, Minnesota during the Vietnam War, protesters blocking a bridge so an Ambulance could not get to the Mankato hospital. This is unGodly behavior. We are called to be a Holy people in all we do and say. It is not right to endanger the lives of others.
I also am sadden in my spirit of postings here on Facebook from all sides. All your name calling and speaking down to people does not attract anyone to your side.
For me I want to attract people to Jesus Christ, not myself.
I want to be Holy. I want people to see our Lord Jesus Christ, not what I have to say.
Pray for me, i want to be Holy.

I am not a Republican or Democrat, I am a registered Independent, I am not a politician. I am for and with God!

From Adrian Rogers this morning at FGGAM.ORG: God expects us to be holy. But when most people talk about holiness, they get a little nervous. They’re interested in heaven and the hereafter but not holiness in the here and now. They’re interested in health, happiness, even helpfulness, but not holiness.

I had the privilege years ago to spend a day in prayer with Dr. Billy Graham and some other men. As we were sitting around a table sharing, Billy Graham said something I shall never forget. He said, “Gentlemen, I long to be holy. I want to be a holy man. Pray for me, that I will be holy.”

ACTION POINT:
Can you say, “More than anything in this world, I long to be holy”? If you can’t, then spend some time today asking God to turn your heart to His and give you the desire to live a holy life.

“When a man is getting better, he understands more and more clearly the evil that’s left in him. When a man is getting worse, he understands his own badness less and less.”–C.S. Lewis

From Oswald Chambers: Lean not unto thine own understanding. In all
thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct
thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

If you will God your right to yourself ,He will make
a holy experiment out of you. God’s experiments
always succeed.

Please also do not make fun of other people.
