Dear Daily Cup Family,
Sharon and I thank you all for stopping by for a CUP as we begin our 21st year of the Daily Cup Ministry! PTL!!!!
Years ago at KKIM Christian in radio in Albuquerque, Pastor Garland Moore of Grants, NM told me to always keep my eyes on Jesus!!! AMEN!
I posted this back in 2013…..The characteristic of the blessed ones is that, wherever they go, they speak blessings. It is AWESOME how easy it is to bless others for our LORD, to speak good things to and about them, to call forth their beauty and truth, when you yourself are in touch with your own blessedness. The blessed one always blesses. And people want to be blessed! AMEN!
I love this from Oswald Chambers…..sent to me by Pastor Ruben Gomez in Midland Texas!
I’ve been preaching the Gospel for over 50 years, and God knows I have my faults and sins. He also knows I have repented and aim to get right with Him each and every day. I am far from perfect, but I can say that this same God has kept me on course. He has kept me preaching the Gospel.
Finishing the course that God has planned for us is never easy. It takes discipline and hard work. It takes picking ourselves up, dusting ourselves off, and starting over. One of these days you are going to have to look back on your life. And I hope you will be able to say that you fought as a warrior and finished as an athlete.
ACTION POINT:
“Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” (Hebrews 12:1b-2a). Keep short accounts with God. Confess quickly. Get back on the track.
