Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

 I Believe   By Jeanne Theriault

2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written I believe, therefore I have spoken with that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.

Whenever we come before the Lord in prayer, there is one thing that we need to remember to  speak out words of faith, by praying scriptures over every request that we make, and not doubt or question the Word of God.

First  talk the answer and not the  problem

Confess the Word of God

Hold fast to your confession

Believe that you have received it

Praise God for the answer

Sometime we have to wait for God to answer our prayers.

Isaiah 30:15 In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quiet and trust is your steadfast

We need to repent, rest in his word, to trust in him and to stand firm and to never waver but to believe in His promised Word.

John 15:4  Remain in me and I will remain in you. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us, 15 and if  we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.

God answers prayer when we obey him

1 John 3:21  Dear friends, If our hearts do not condemn us we have confidence before God  22 and receive from him anything we ask because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

God answers prayers when we believe

Mark 11:23-24 Have faith in God, Jesus answered 23 I tell you the truth if anyone says to this mountain go through yourself into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen  it will be done for him 24 Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it  and it will be yours.

Here God is saying to have faith, speak to your mountain, not to doubt, to have a heart that will believe and to speak out the word of God and it will be done and you will receive .

Sometimes we have prayers that we have to wait for the answer, you see God knows to answer at the right time.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. 11 So is my word that goes out from my mouth it will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayers.

God requires for us to have faith

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Faith will always give us hope

2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written I believe therefore I have spoken With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.

James 1:6 But he who asks he must believe  and not doubt. Because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind.

Matthew 21:22 If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

The power of God is available to all who calls upon him in faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews11:6)

When we pray according to God’s will and express our faith he promises that his word will accomplish his will in our lives.

Our faith will be most effective when we acknowledge God’s word by praying, doing, trusting and believing.

Our hearts hold on to hope

Knowing that God is near

All things we can cope

Whenever in doubt, do not fear

He will bring about

It is with our hearts , we reach out

Peace will be our source , we can rest assure

God’s love and mercy will always endure

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire.

Lord I believe and trust in your Word. I will speak out your word in faith, I will not doubt but wait on you , I will hold fast to my confession and  give you praise and thanksgiving. Amen

Isaiah 65:24 Before they call I will answer, while they are still speaking I will hear.

Micah7:7  But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior my God will hear me.
