When you are behind the wheel, you have different signs that you need to follow in order for you to stay safe. There are signs that gives us directions, there are stops signs, speed limit signs, caution signs and yield signs ect. When Jesus is at the wheel in our lives there are signs that he gives us in order for us to stay safe.
Save Sign
Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Trusting Sign
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Believing Sign
Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Faith Sign
Mark 11:22 Have faith in God
Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God , because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hope Sign
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Faithful Sign
Proverbs 28:20 A faithful man will be richly blessed
Obey Sign
John 14:23 If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him and he will come to him and make our home with him.
When you allow God to control your life, you will be on the right path.
John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life.
Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul, He guides me in path of righteousness for his name sake.
John 9:5 I am the light of the world
Eternal Sign
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Our path has already been made , so lets pull all stops and let nothing hinder our spiritual growth in God.
Proverbs 20:24 A man’s steps are directed by the Lord.
Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light for my path.
So if you are on the right path and heed to the direction that God gives you, he will protect, guide you in safety.
Psalm 37:23 If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm 24 though he stumbles he will not fall.
Psalm 121:3 He will not let your foot slip he who watches over you will not slumber.
What powerful promises that he has given to his children, that if obey his signs that he will be there for you.
Thank you Lord, we will obey your word according to your will, we will walk in safety, for you are the light of our path, we will stay faithful, believing, trusting, and be obedient to your word, that these signs will lead us into a place of peace, of rest, and directions in our lives. Amen
