Dear Heavenly Father, my homeland, America, suffers. She suffers because of the sinful compromise of Your Word, and it suffers because prideful, greedy, leaders have all but forgotten that they are servants of the people. It is my solemn prayer that Your Spirit would affect the hearts of all our political leaders throughout America who are at odds in spirit so that they will see the mistakes of their administration. I ask that You would sow the seed of truth and light within their hearts. Please allow the Holy Spirit to develop their awareness of Your will. Destroy the strongholds of deception, pride, anger, racism, and self-service so that they would be clear to lead and serve the people of this nation in accordance to Your will. Grant them a Biblical perspective on life and moral clearness within the core of who they are. Unite America yet again under the hope and glory of “One Nation Under God” – never again to compromise Your moral principles.
For leaders who are true believers, encourage them to take a stronger position for the Kingdom and Your glory in spite of political correctness and demands of wicked people. For anyone refusing to change, remove them from public service. Replace them with God fearing leaders willing to commit to making a difference for Your Honor, the American ideal, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
