President Donald Trump said he would like to see Israel ‘hold back on settlements for a little bit’ and indicated he would support whichever peace agreement Israelis and Palestinians ‘like the best,’ during a joint press conference with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday. ‘I’m looking at two state and one state. And I like the one that both parties like,’ Trump said when asked about a peace agreement. Netanyahu began the press conference at the White House by praising Trump for renewing the bond between the U.S. and Israel.
