What is that obstacle in your life that you feel is impossible to overcome; or make a significant difference in the outcome, and be successful at? I am going to ask you to pray and hear the Lord’s Voice on what you need to hope for. Do you have JOY? I hope to encourage you be willing to listen to the voice of God and be willing to apply your faith in a good outcome; –until you see HOPE arise in you that you can believe in what The Holy Spirit is guiding you to overcome and be successful at, because of the JOY that fills you deeply; and overflows from your heart that believes.
I have discovered that we need to [seek understanding] [believing in a higher overall purpose] to believe enough through our difficulties to apply our faith to work toward a common good goal. Will you stick with God for a while, until you see God’s perspective? Before you move in any direction by your faith, get wise Council.
There are a perhaps a billion books you could buy on any subject you want. The difference in this work is that it comes to you for free. That is the measure of God’s love He has poured into my heart to write for you. Posting this today is the sacrifice I believe God asks of me for you to be encouraged in the love God has for you too! I pray this is a blessing to you –and I believe that if you sacrifice your time to seek the Lord’s thoughts in all you do, you perhaps already know how blessed you are. Yet, perhaps, even your time with the Lord reading this, will direct your mind closer and closer to God; and this is my only goal: Not to govern your faith, but to help you find your joy.
2 Corinthians 2:24 (NLT translation) says my heart best:
But that does not mean we want to dominate you by telling you how to put your faith into practice. We want to work together with you so you will be full of joy, for it is by your own faith that you stand firm.
Dewey asked me if I had a post brewing in my heart a couple of weeks ago; and his message come to me at the end of difficult job for me –wallpaper removal! The real difficulty in this job task was the work in changing the attitude in my heart. The physical work wasn’t that hard (nor impossible) once I changed my perspective; applied my faith; and believed in the overall purpose!
And, so the Holy Spirit has not let this rest away from my heart to share, because this is relevant to every aspect of life in our relationships with people; and in overcoming all situations. God just allowed me to see a picture painted of how hope arises to believe enough to work for what God is wanting us to discover, by applying our faith toward God’s goal -not just what we can see before us with a misplaced hope! God’s goal is for us and God’s goal is for us to discover true JOY and happiness!
Thank you Jesus for this!
God had already placed this message on my heart before Dewey texted me; and this is about removing seemingly impossible wallpaper; and the difference Hope has made! Day to day, I hope to post a little more of what God is showing me –in the method the Holy Spirit will post. I really didn’t believe it was worth my efforts in my struggle, but in the end, I discovered it was more than worth my time! And, so are all things the good Lord guides us to pass through –even, as though, we feel the water, before the sea is parted to see what God is doing: The Miracle of believing faith to discover hope when we realize there is purpose to believe!
What is it; or who is it, in your life that you would prefer to give up on? May I suggest to you that your prayers are needed. We must have a servant’s heart; oh and we think we do, but do we? When it comes to difficulties that we want to give up on? Joy won’t come until we admit Jesus is the only Truth, the only Way and the only Life. What is God’s method? Pride is the gateway to death; and nothing should get in God’s way of you and me being “the significant you and me” that God has created you and me to be.
So what is it? What is your Wallpaper? This is so simple, but so deep; God’s methods are mind-boggling great! Yet, by grace we can discover this great grace God has placed right before us to abide in the power of God’s wonderful and free flowing love, grace and mercy! Will you apply your faith to hook up to God’s Grace?
As I lead into this picture, through this series of painting a picture of finding hope, God’s power exists in believing to discover hope, by faith! Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Faith pleases God!!! What is faith? Open your Bible to Hebrews and begin reading to grow deeper in your faith that pleases God in Hebrews 11:1.

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Life is a process and for a purpose!!! Just like removing this wallpaper that I hope to share what I have written more in detail about, was a process; and for a purpose! I dreaded it; I wanted to avoid it; I even grew angry about having to face it. But now I see why; and this I believe will guide us to discovering our joy in other situations too.
Because the real work was of God; and what was happening in me! My attitude was changing! We can know what we are supposed to do, but sometimes our flesh fights it! When we believe it is too hard –we don’t / won’t hope! Sometimes we can lose focus. Yes, this is about wallpaper removal, but if you only knew it was a real battle of attitude within me, because I misplaced my hope, because I just couldn’t see the purpose until I applied my faith!!!
Awe, and there is that power word: Purpose!
Yet, this post is about so much more than this wallpaper, as the Holy Spirit will do the real speaking to us all. Trust in God and trust also in the Son of God. God has purpose in all things! Will we follow, trust and obey? If we do, we will discover, by God’s Grace, peace, joy and happiness in this beautiful life Jesus died and rose again to give us all who might believe!
If you are thinking or saying to God, “Thank you God I am not like that person” Open your Bible to Job and hear how God responded to this fine man of God. God is bigger than our plans and God is higher than our call. God’s love is bigger and grander and broader than the East is to the West. Let us learn to love like God!
What is like that wallpaper to you, that I misplaced my hope in that it would be easier to replace the wall than to remove the covering? The Wallpaper represents the covering of our hearts. And, God says there is purpose in His Kingdom and we are worth all! God loves you my friend! And the Holy Spirit cares deeply about the details of our lives, each as unto God; God loves us this personally!
I will leave today’s post with what I wrote at the end of this job that I did accomplish:
“When you try something you thought was impossible and accomplish the task –it is a work that makes me happy;” and I believe this is meant for you to discover too.
Seek to see God’s Vision and discover God’s purpose set before you in all things, because God cares about you and every detail of your life; and He cares deeply about the details in the lives of those around you! Apply your faith according to your ever-increasing knowledge, with understanding and Wisdom from God! Experience the Joy in Jesus that is set before you when God flows joy through your soul that you know God is saying, this is my child and with whom I am well pleased!
Yes, my friend this is the difference Jesus and the believing Holy Spirit makes in us!
