Ask ,Believe, Receive
Mark 11:22 Have faith in God 24 Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Having faith in God
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Now the ingredients to answered prayers
Seeking God
Matthew 7:7Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives , he who seeks finds , and to him who knocks , the door will be open.
Waiting on God
Psalm 38:15 I wait for you, O Lord you will answer, O Lord my God.
Having Confidence in God
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us , whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.
Trusting in God
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him and I am helped, my heart leaps for joy and I will give him thanks to him in song.
Hope in God
Psalm 42:5 Why are you downcast O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him my Savior and my God.
Give him praise
Psalm 26:7 Proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. 8 I love the house where you live O Lord the place where your glory dwells.
Standing firm
Psalm 26:12 My feet stand on level ground, in the great assembly I will praise the Lord.
God hears
Psalm 28:6 Praise be to the Lord for he has heard my cry for mercy .
Give him thanks
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe 29 For God is a consuming fire.
God Promises
Hebrews 10:35 So do not throw away your confidence it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God you will receive what he has promised.
When we come in prayer we need to prepare our hearts to believe and receive . God is faithful and gracious , his blessings are beyond measure. He always hears our prayers. His plan for us are good. He is the lifter of our head and a shield for our defense . He is the source of our peace and joy.
Never question or doubt his word, but to stand on his word and he will come through for you if you just believe .
Psalm 66:16-20 Come and listen all you who fear God, let me tell you what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth, his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened, But God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. Praise be to God who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love for me.
