Good morning beautiful people, I was thinking this morning if I could speak just a few words to someone, what would those few words be. I narrowed it down to this; Jesus, is on your side.
I read in my Bible this morning from Psalm 91 (read the whole chapter) in verse 15-16 it says; He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. Now isn’t that quite a promise? Who can deliver you and then honor you? Only Jesus.
Father, thank you that Your Word is life to our very being. Today, for every person that will call upon your name, you will answer. You will help them, no matter the trouble they are in, no matter their need. You are their God-and they are your people.
God, as you look down on our city, thank you for being God of Presque Isle, Maine. (name your city) Thank you for putting all the pieces together for the people that will talk with you about it (pray). For the unemployed God, we pray employment. For the homeless, we pray a place to live. For the hungry oh Lord, we pray food. For the sick, we pray healing. You have the answer for every need.
Thank you for honoring us God. May we honor one another. You said in Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love.Honor one another above yourselves. May that be true in our lives God. May that be true in our city. Amen
