Is He Really Jealous?

Exodus 20:5  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.

Father, forgive us when we put our “things” before you. Today, we willingly choose to lay down our idols and put You first. You are a jealous God and you desire a relationship twenty four hours a day seven days a week. You want to journey life with us.

You tell us in Revelation 2:4 to return to our first love. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that gently reminds us that You are our first love. Everything this world has to offer is just that, of the world. Thank you that we belong to a different Kingdom-the Kingdom of God.

Today, may schedules change as people all across this globe put you back in their busy schedules. You have first place in our hearts and our lives.

All across this globe today may many choose to return today to their first love. Amen
