This morning I just couldn’t help but think about the future. I just had to go back and pray this prayer again. Together, let’s pray for future generations.
Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from theLord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Psalm 78: 1-7 Give ear, O my people,tomy law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, Which we have heard and known,And our fathers have told us. We will not hidethemfrom their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of theLord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children; That the generation to come might knowthem, the childrenwhowould be born, Thatthey may arise and declarethemto their children, that they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments.
Father, thank you that you are the God of all generations. Today we pray for our future generations. You said In Deuteronomy 5:10 you show love to a thousand generations of those who love you and keep your commandments.
Father, we continue to pray for the unborn. Thank you for being a good, good Father. Heal your people that bought the lie. Thank you for overturning Roe V Wade.
Lord, heal our Land according to Your Word. (2 Chronicles 7:14) If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. We are ready to receive. Thank you for the healing waters of Jesus Christ across our nation to the nations.
Today, we Declare the Word of the Lord over our future generations. May they rise up and Declare You are their God without fear. Amen
