Dear Family of the Daily CUP,
When a nation moves away from God..and people do evil acts, like Kathy Griffin, we must realize we live in a time of darkness…and danger..we must be mature Christians….From Bill Wilson of the Daily Jot at FGGAM.ORG: People are writing me asking what we can do. Honestly, we have to engage with our families, our communities, our workplace, and our friends. As guided by the Holy Spirit, we need to find the right words and the right attitudes to start conversations and make the argument about how insidiously dark and radically dangerous our society is becoming. The Apostle Peter wrote in 1 Peter 4:17-18, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God; and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” We are seeing the results of ineffective “church” in our own country. The problem is a sin problem resulting from not enough light shining into the darkness. We need to be that light.
