Good morning beautiful people. No matter what you are going through today, pray God’s Word back to Him. If you need healing-pray healing scriptures. If you need wisdom, ask. Take God at His Word and believe what He says. (Isaiah 55:11) When God said His Word would not return void, He meant it. Oh, the power of the Word.
Every promise in the Bible is for you. We all need to study it, so we can know what is ours. We can’t believe something we don’t know. In 1 Corinthians 15:57 tells us to give thanks to God for He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I remember a season when I was going through a difficult time, how I strengthened my belief. I would write the Bible verse I needed to believe that pertained to my situation on an index card. I would carry this card around in my pocket. All throughout the day, I would read it, re-read it, until it went deep in my spirit. When my mind would think back on a situation, or what I was believing God for, I had some of God’s own Words hidden in my heart to give me strength to wait for the answer. His Word is powerful. Read it, speak it and believe it.
Father, thank you for Your powerful Words. Thank you that we can praise you in all things. You tell us to give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Father, thank you for watching over Your Word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12) You tell us to put our trust in you and not to lean on our own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) So that’s what we are doing.
Take us deeper in Your Word. It is life to our very bones. Amen
