It’s Time To Get Out Of The Box… Joanne’s Prayer Of The Day
I, like you, are blessed with Angel’s Prayer of the Day. Today I have the honor of following her example with Joanne’s Prayer of the Day. My friend, Angel, is a woman who lives out of the box. What creative power! Recently, my father, who has been a man of very few words, prophesied, “Joanne, don’t put God in a teeny, tiny box. God is bigger than that.” He stopped me in my tracks. My dad struggles with Parkinson’s disease and is limited, but out of his end-of-life body, his spirit spoke along with the Spirit of God. “Don’t put me in a teeny, tiny box. I AM so much bigger than that.
The revelation grew but it started with understanding that if I do not get out of my self, I will never see all that God has planned for me, Psalm 139. “Do One Thing Every Day That Scares You” is a journal that challenges and encourages us to face our fear. That challenge every day has taken me way out of my comfort zone, my box, my self. The pattern is the same; overwhelming fear, an “in-that-moment” revelation, overcoming then a new way of thinking and living. No one signs up to face fear, but what freedom! I am not what I was. I am becoming who I was created to be. I am finally out of the box!
Father, I thank you that you hear our prayer. You said if you hear us, you answer. Thank you for helping us become who we were created to be, do what we were created to do and fulfill destiny moments. I praise you for who you are. You are good and your mercy endures forever. You create and recreate making the restoration more beautiful than the original. Thank you for helping us to BE. Holy Spirit thank you for giving us courage to face our fear and get out of our box. Amen
