Today, I wanted us to join our faith for the prodigals. So many people I have met have been hurt by Christians. I am sure most people don’t even realize how they come across. I know I don’t at times. For the most part I have found people are good. They would never intentionally hurt a person. However, it t is true hurting people hurt people. Church is no different. A group of imperfect people coming together to grow more into the image of Christ. So today let’s ask God Himself to show us someone that has left the fold that we could reach out too. Let the rescue begin.
Father, you left the 99 and went after the one. (Luke 15:4) Today, we call back the prodigals. Give us the words to say and the open doors to them. May their hearts be open to receive the love You have for them through us. Where there has been hurt-thank you for healing them. Where there has been offense, we pray that forgiveness will flow. It’s time for the prodigals to come home and we want to do our part. Set it up, Oh God.
Together, all across this globe let’s declare the prodigals are on their way home. Amen
Have a blessed day beautiful people. Keep your eyes open and do your part.
Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?Luke 15:4
