It is time to take off the ‘Chamber of Commerce rose colored glasses’ and realize you can dress up a pig all you want, but a pig is a pig. We are in deep trouble.
My heart breaks daily for Albuquerque, another murder. God is not happy with us. This time a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed while playing video games according to an initial report from Police.
I mourn for the city of Albuquerque for what it has become, so very violent and life is not valued, either through shootings or abortion. Killing so many of God’s children.
This will not change until hearts are changed for Jesus. We must reach the lost.
Politics is not the answer, Jesus is………..
Yes, I believe in my heart that Albuquerque is in a fight for its life.
We have friends who have begun to move out of the city because of the crime and we have friends in New Mexico who will not travel to Albuquerque anymore for medical needs or shopping, they will go to Arizona instead.
I am very thankful to be a customer of the Albuquerque Journal. I just got the Sunday newspaper off the driveway. The Journal has been doing a great job in reporting on the violent crime epidemic in Albuquerque. I had a Albuquerque Police Sgt. tell me, “People do not know how dangerous this city has become, it is very dangerous.”
Everyday we read about our crime infested city in the Journal and we see it on TV every night.
I said years ago on KKIM, nothing good happens in this city after 9pm, be at home and safe now I have to say it is dangerous during the day. Up the road from us at Smiths Grocery a lady was maced getting our of her car and robbed during the day and a man also stole a truck from a customer during the day. All in July.
Also during July the Smiths by us was robbed at gunpoint one night at 10PM, my friend was the one who had the gun pointed at her. Also in July a worker of Smiths had his neck slashed with a knife as he was getting out of his car.
Meanwhile Albuquerque allows abortions to continue in the city. Allowing the killing of God’s babies, how dare we!
God cannot bless this city with our continued sins.
