Good Morning Beautiful People…He Knows The Way You Should Take
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. On Monday morning of this week, I was on my morning walk doing what I do every morning-praying. As I came down Industrial Park here in my city, a little boys sandal caught my attention. Right in the path before me, was this little blue and orange sandal. I stood there for a few moments as I looked at it before me. So many thoughts ran through my head as I remembered the little boys dedication I attended just a few weeks prior. My heart skipped a few beats.
I remember that Sunday morning very clearly. I felt impressed to attend church in another town. As they announced this baby’s dedication, I leaned over to my sister and said now I know why I am here. Mom sang this beautiful song and I must admit I have played it every day since. When I saw this picture that mom posted, I just had to ask permission to use it. I would say this baby is thanking his mom today for dedicating Him to the Lord. Can you imagine having the Creator of the Universe-the person that formed you in your mothers womb watching over you? I would say that would make for a happy baby.

I was giving a friend a ride to work later that morning. I told her I had to go back and pick up the sandal that was in my path earlier. She said oh, I know who lost it. This morning as I gave her a ride once again, she said the boys mom was grateful to have both sandals once again. I love how God knows the way we should take. I love that He knows the number of hairs on our heads. I love how He orders our footsteps.
If you haven’t dedicated your child to the Lord, there is no time like the present. A child is never too old to be dedicated or christened. Talk to God about it today. He has the master plan for all our lives. He knows the way we should take.
Father, you said Children are a gift from You, oh Lord. (Psalm 127:3)Just as we cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mothers womb, so we cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. (Ecclesiastes 11:5) You always amaze us, God.
Thank you for the blessing of children. May many moms and dads across this globe today choose to dedicate their children to you. Even if there is only one parent present, you know the way they should take.
We pray you strengthen parents today. May they choose to train their children up in the ways of the Lord and when they are old they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
