Good Morning Beautiful People… Jeremiah’s Voice Part 3, Breaking Chains

Good Morning beautiful people. The hidden scars of abortion and its aftermath are devastating to a woman, her self esteem and her everyday health. Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually she has changed forever. As I have shared some of my journey with you in the first two parts of these posts, I hope it brings you to a new awareness of how abortion hurts women. Can God forgive a person for such a choice? Yes, yes he can. He forgave me. Can a woman be made whole in every area of her life? Yes, yes she can. Can a woman have children after an abortion? Yes, many do including me. However, the enemy of your soul will whisper in your most vulnerable times that you cannot and will not have a fruitful womb. You will have thoughts that forgiveness just could not be for a woman like you. That is a lie. Many women today are still suffering in shame and hopelessness believing those horrific lies.

The aftermath of an abortion has its own effects on women. To this very day which is many years after my abortion, I dislike the sound of a vacuum because it reminds me of the procedure and the equipment that was used. I know women across this globe may have aftermath issues unique to their situation and how their loss affected them.

Today, I want to end my post praying for women who have suffered the loss of a child through death, miscarriage or abortion. Today, I desire the Creator of the Universe to touch your heart like never before. Today, I want to break the chains, I want to break the silence, I want to expose the lies and I want Jesus to touch you right where you hurt. Let’s pray:

Father, I thank you for new beginnings. I thank you every day is a new beginning. Today oh God, I come in the name of Jesus the name above all names to ask you to break the chains off of women across this globe. Today, I pray for courage, I pray for strength. I pray women will move from guilt and pain to freedom. Lord you said whom the son sets free is free indeed. That’s our inheritance in Christ Jesus.

I pray for every woman that is in need of healing today. God give them strength to deal with the grief, the loss and help them to love themselves for whom you created them to be. They do not need to compare themselves or their circumstances to anyone else’s. You created them and have the ultimate plan for their life. God set in place everything needed to bring the healing as only you can. You paid the price for our wholeness and today we take the limits off and ask you to touch a hurting world and every hurting woman. I thank you for freedom.

Thank you that you are our judge and jury and you say BE FREE. You say FORGIVEN. I pray women all across this globe today receive this prayer for whatever circumstance they find themselves in. Draw them close to you and may they be blessed beyond what they could ever think or imagine. Thank you for breaking the chains, breaking the silence and breaking through to a hurting world with your love message (Bible) and your healing balm of Gilead. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

BE FREE…John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

I’ve included a writing I wrote years ago during my journey to Freedom.

SCARS

You can’t’ see my scars – they are hidden deep within.
You say I look so nice and you think I’m doing, oh so well.
My scar is oozing with pain, hurt and despair.
Does anyone even realize the pain I can hardly bare?
My scar you cannot see. My countenance does reflect
A bad choice, a dark day.
My scar, I’m left with feelings of shame and guilt.
If abortion is the right choice, then why all the pain?
My choice, my decision, my rights.
I’ve made my choice, now I hurt.
Many years later, I ask when does the pain end?
I thought it was just tissue, no real life.
No! No!, Please don’t believe that lie!
It leaves a scar.
You can’t change it for me, medication can probably ease the pain for a time, but then, what’s the course?
