What Time Is It? Awakening Time…
Good morning beautiful people. This morning as I sit to write my thoughts and prayers, I reflect back on a journal from 2006. It was at a camp prayer retreat I attended and inquired of the Lord. Why do you want us here? Why did you call us to come? What’s the plan Father?
I penned the following. Rejection must go for you are my beloved people. I love you, you are precious to me. I am your daddy.
Oh the love of my Father. Deeper than the ocean, wider than the sea. Fresher than the smell of the morning dew. Crisper than the fall leaves.
Love, the greatest gift given. Love, the hardest it seems to receive. Be free my people for I receive you. No need to live up to others expectations, no need to strive for perfection. I will perfect all that concerns you. Receive my love my people, for I have paid a great price for you. My plans for you are to be refreshed in my love. Drink from my well that never runs dry. All you will ever need is in me. My covenant people, drink, drink and drink until you are full, whole and ready to return. Come back often for fresh wine, don’t go long before you come again. Make your secret place a camp experience. For it is there I will meet you again.
As I prepare to pack my suitcase this morning for the Allagash Awakening, I feel in my heart the love God has for His people. There is not one that he would reject. My prayer is that there is not one that would reject Him.
Will you join me today in praying for His people from Allagash, Maine throughout our nation and to the nations, for His glory alone. The Allagash gates are open and the King of Glory is flowing through. Flow river flow.
Father, thank you for your covenant promises. You are a loving God. Mankind cannot fathom the depth of your love. It’s challenging to love one another. It’s challenging with all our human flaws to see the good in every life created. For we all were created in your image. Oh God, we are in need of a true awakening. We are your people and you are our God. The things that divide us Father, tear them down so we can better reflect your heart.
Forgive us God (forgive me), when we failed to love like you have commanded. Love doesn’t make the things done to us right. Only you can repay, but it does make the river of life flow through us in a purer, mightier way. Flow river flow. Break up the rocks in our lives and tear down any hardness in our hearts. Oh, to love like the love of our Father, that’s our prayer. Amen
From the gateways of Allagash, Maine to every place on planet earth receive The Father’s Love.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
