When I was on JOY-AM in Albuquerque doing Saturday mornings I would always play this song “Ragged Old Flag” by Johnny Cash! People loved it, if I was late playing it they would call me! I would play many other patriotic songs during my Saturday morning shift! It was so much fun!
Its our choice, to have fun in our Lord or not!
Now last night at the Twins and Yankees Wild Card Playoff game………..
Beautiful National Anthem at Yankee Stadium 50,000 people singing the National Anthem and they took time before the game pray/moment of silence for Las Vegas and all the families and all the first responders beautiful beautiful Praise God!
All the players were standing, some near tears….That is the America I know.
This is what my dear friend Susan Peterson of Laporte, Indiana said….”It almost made me cry seeing all those men with hats on their hearts. Made me proud”
