Good morning beautiful people. I wanted to share with you a treasured memory.
I laugh as I awoke this morning, remembering the day called yesterday. I was busy with the daily chores called housekeeping, when I received a call from my daughter inquiring about a treasure hunt for my grandson. Somehow at that moment, laundry seemed unnecessary, dishes could wait and the dust on the furniture could hold for another day. I quickly went to our favorite store, The Dollar Store, to find a few treasures for him to discover. Together, we hid the mini Frisbee, M&M’s and stickers. We took turns seeing the amazement of a child, as he looked diligently to discover the hidden treasures.
It brings to the forefront of my mind this early morning, the treasure each life brings to the universe, uniquely created. Each person created with gifts and talents that is needed for each community to function. I ponder what the world would be like, if everyone realized their value, their purpose. No one person more important than the next, just uniquely created individuals all created in the image of our God. Wouldn’t it be amazing if each person found their purpose in life, fulfilling the plan they were designed for? Everyone destined for the same greatness.
I pray each day that all human life would discover the truth about who they are on this journey. Somehow the ship becomes battered by the storms of life, and soon people begin to believe the lies planted only by the enemy of their soul.
Today, find the hidden treasure in yourself and then look for the treasure in the folks you will encounter this day. I realize sometimes those hard places in life have hardened the shell of the heart, and people become mean, scared, hurt, and bitter. Their journey has caused them to slip and lose that hope. Maybe you will be the one to help tear down that wall of pain, and give them a renewed sense, that they too are important.
Today, awaken the treasures in your world, your sphere of influence. Maybe you can help unlock the hidden treasure in someone else’s life today. You may be the one to give them the courage to keep on the journey.
Be the very best you can be today. No need to compare yourself to anyone. You are great. Allow your greatness to spill over into the heart of the one that has lost it today.
May you discover many hidden treasures on this day. Let it be your day of amazement, like the wonder of a child. Destiny awaits.

Father, thank you that we are your treasure. Your love for us is just downright amazing. Your love is unstoppable, full of mercy. It is true you would wage a war for your people. You gave your very life. Oh, the love of our Father.
Today, we join our faith together that the revelation of the love of Christ would be evident in the lives of your people. Together, all across this globe we pray the world would see the love of Christ in us and experience it through us and desire to journey life with you. Do a deeper work in us today, we pray.
Thank you that we are your treasure. Thank you for your love. Lead us to people today that have lost the value they have in life. Use us today that we may be instruments of hope to those without it, we pray. Amen
