Jesus, in John 14:27
Each of us are constantly under attack, even when we aren’t aware of it. Our enemies, both physical & spiritual, are constantly hunting us, ready to attack at the first sign of weakness. Fear, uncertainty, doubt & other negative forces, can overwhelm us at any moment, without warning. Jesus offers us peace of heart & of our mind, so that we will not be troubled or afraid. It is a peace that goes well beyond all human understanding. The peace of God is much more than what the world calls peace, which may be nothing more than the temporary absence of conflict. Jesus assures us, that as children of God, we have no need to fear anything in this world, now or in the days to come. Inviting Jesus into your heart as Lord & Savior, is the beginning of bringing lasting peace into your life.
