Giving  God Praise By Jeanne Theriault

Spiritual warriors walk in the power of praising God, before seeing any evidence. We can offer him thanksgiving with such confidence because of who he is.

1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God  that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 13 And if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.

God is our Rock he is faithful and just. His works are perfect in all his ways.

Deuteronomy 32:3 I will proclaim the name of the Lord, Oh praise the goodness of our God. 4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong upright and just is he.

When you give praise and proclaim his name you are affirming his power and victory over every circumstances . God receives the glory, our faith is increased and the enemy is terrified and his plans are confounded .

2 chronicles 20:1 The armies of the Moabites Ammonites and some of the Meunites declared war on Jehoshaphat.

Jehoshaphat told his people not to fear but to have faith in the Lord and they would be successful. And Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army saying: Give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever. (2 Chronicles 20:20)

2 Chronicles 20:22 As they began to sing and praise the Lord set ambushes against the men  of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah and they were defeated.

The enemy knows the Power of Praise. He will try to discourage you. When God’s people come into His presence with praise and thanksgiving , then warfare is waged against our enemies and our battles are won by the super natural Power of God.

The enemy has no chance of winning against people who are consumed with praising God for there is victory for those who rejoice in God’s great glory.

Praise is a declaration of victory, proclaiming faith to stand firm in the place God has given you. God inhabits our praises .

Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise , the fruit of lips that confess his name.

God  in all his fullness inhabits and dwells in our praises of him.

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

Singing praises and worshipping him is a prayer of intimacy and intercessory with power. God delights it when we give him praise and he rejoices over us with singing.

He has promised you  his name, his word and his promises.

Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him and praise his name 5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever , his faithfulness continues through all generations.

1 Chronicles 16:9 Sing to him, sing praise to him tell of all his wonderful acts. 10 Glory to his holy name, let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice 11 Look to the Lord and his strength, seek his face always.

Lord I give you thanks and praise for you are worthy of all our praises.  I Will rejoice in your mercy and truth. With my mouth I will make known your faithfulness. I will bless your name forever because of who you are. I have victory over every battle that I face.   I will glorify and bless your name forever. Amen
