Update from Jennifer Burns of Valleyview: Valleyview Christian Church served 326 meals to our veterans, fire, police, and first responder’s and their families . In addition to those served at the dinner we were able to prepare and deliver 67 (part of the total number) dinners to police and firemen who were on duty in their respective areas. What a blessing to to have an opportunity to serve those who have given of themselves to serve and protect all of us. Thank you to each and every one of you. Thank you to all of the volunteers giving of themselves to be the hands and feet of Jesus. God Bless

I have been blessed to attend this wonderful dinner for several years. What a blessing from Valley View! All attendees are served turkey or ham, Jen Burns wonderful dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and pie! What an awesome way to show appreciation to our heroes! Pastor Ricky Gordon and I were blessed to attend the annual Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood Appreciation Dinner for Military, Police, Fire and all First Responders! Pastor Ricky is an EMT and I served as a volunteer Fireman in Osceola, Indiana in the late 80’s. I am wearing the shirt that Windom Fire Chief Dan Ortmann gave me last week in honor of my Grandpa Chris Moede and my Dad Wally who served honorably for the Windom Fire Department for several years! Thanks to Jen Burns for the invite and the awesome dressing!! Thanks to The folks at Valley View for being a shining light for Jesus!
