Well, this is very sad news for the City of Albuquerque and our new Mayor, a severe budget deficit. It appears the financial management at City Hall has been out of wack and has left Mayor Keller a lump of coal.
Everything from management of the Police department budget to the leak in the new City fountain to the mess with the Federal funding of the new ABQ Rapid Transit, Mayor Keller and his staff have a lot of work in front of them.
No way getting around this, for one reason or another, he was left with a lump of coal.
Join us in praying for our new Mayor and his staff, it is going to be difficult to get Police staffing up to snuff with money problems.
The bottom line is in everything we do, including our finances, we must follow Biblical principles. You cannot rob Peter to pay Paul.
Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it. Ecclesiastes 7:12
Let us pray for wisdom for Mayor Keller and his staff.
We must all be good stewards of what God gives us.
Never spend what you do not have.
God told me when He established For God’s Glory Alone Ministry, that we were never to go into debt. We are not in debt after more than 5 years now. PTL!
