Sadly it now looks like ex-Mayor Berry not only handed new Mayor Tim Keller a lump of coal, a $40 million budget deficit, but Mayor Keller found a BIG LEMON, the “Berry Lemon” on Central!
It breaks my heart that all this has had happened to our City after the ex-Mayor said he was leaving the City in great shape!!!???
Where does the new Mayor start? He has been handed a mess by the ex-Mayor. The City is in knee deep red ink. No money to hire the Police Officers that we need to hire, and now apparently there is great doubt if the Federal funding will ever come our way to pay for the “Berry Lemon”
How does this happen with highly educated people in our City government who we trust to do what is right? It breaks my heart. Berry is a Republican, Keller is a Democrat. It does not matter to me about political parties, I am an Independent This is not about politics, this is about doing what is right for the people, spending money wisely and prioritizing. ART got put ahead of our Police Officers, that is a shame.
God was not in this, God is not a God of confusion, Our God is a God of clarity.
God does not create $40 million deficits and lemons like ART, this happens when men do not follow the ways of God. As Mark Twain once said, “The only difference between a Republican and Democrat is the spelling”.
Just look at the Federal budget!!!! Trillions of dollars of red ink! Republicans and Democrats all adding to our endless debt.
Politics does not solve problems, only JESUS does.
I never could find anyone who was for the ART project, except for some politicians.
We all need the wisdom of God in our lives. From Proverbs 4:7….The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6

We pray for Godly wisdom for Mayor Keller and his administration and over the City Council, and all City Officials.
We must pray for Mayor Keller and our City.
How do we solves the problems we are facing? Whether the problems our in our family, Church, Business, City, Schools…..we should always seek the face of JESUS. We should have a close personal relationship with JESUS, so we can HEAR HIM! AMEN!
When man goes off without God it always means disaster sooner or later.
Seeking the wisdom of God and applying it to our lives is the only way to go.
I am so old that I still remember Will Rogers! You would benefit from studying his view of politics! The Will Rogers museum is in Claremont, Oklahoma. Here is one of my favorite Will Rogers quotes……
