Do You Know How Gifted You Are? Bring It To The Table…

Good morning beautiful people. This morning I was reading in 1 Corinthians. In chapter 1 verse 3 Paul greets us with grace and peace from our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. He goes on tell us in verses 5-7 that we are enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in us. This was the part that really caught my attention. So that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we were called into the fellowship of His son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
We come short in no gift. Did you catch that? You come short in no spiritual gift. You are gifted my friend. If you are in Jesus, you have the Holy Spirit living in you and He will reveal whatever you have need of.
Father, thank you that you have gifted us with revelation. Thank you that whatever spiritual gift we need today, you provide it. We don’t lack for nothing. You tell us in 1 Corinthians 2:19 the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. Thank you for your wisdom. Everything we need or will ever need is in you and through you. That keeps our attention focused on You and Your Word.
Today, thank you Father for revelation. Illuminate the Word each day to us, so that we truly will know what our inheritance is. Then let us come together and bring our gifts around the table, so that together we change the world. Amen
