I used to work at WLOI/WCOE radio in LaPorte, Indiana back in the mid 80’s. Sometimes I would drive home from LaPorte to Mishawaka in near blizzard conditions. It reminded me so much of back home in Windom, Minnesota, but there is nothing like being in a lake-effect snowstorm. We are praying for the safety of all. I talked to an old friend in LaPorte yesterday, Lavella Hickman, she said that her grandson Christopher just keeps shoveling! She told me the snow had not stopped for three days!
