Good morning beautiful people. I was reading this morning in Deuteronomy. I love the covenant God has made with His people. I love to read from the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. I love that He is a jealous God. (Deut.6:15). Today, let’s ask Him to forgive us when we put other things ahead of Him. Sometimes we make our plans and don’t even consult with Him. Not good.
Father, thank you that you are a jealous God. You want to be our first love. You want us to seek you first about everything. Forgive us when we put things ahead of you. Every detail of our daily lives need to be submitted to you. This removes the frustrations of the day. Knowing you, oh God, you order our footsteps. We need not worry about where we will live, what we will eat and which way to go. You are right there saying this is the way, walk ye in it. You lead us right to the promise land. Thank you for delivering us out of Egypt. Never to return, no never.
Thank you for growing our faith from mustard seed faith to where we are today. For without faith it is impossible to please you. (Hebrews 11:6) Take us higher, mature our faith we pray. We want to soar with the eagles and fulfill the purpose we were created for. Amen
