Today is National Sanctity of Human Life Day an observance declared by several U.S. Presidents who opposed abortion. On January 19, of this year, President Trump issued a proclamation for January 22, being National Sanctity of Human Life Day.[1] This marks the 45th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision of Roe vs. Wade, that legalized abortion on demand. The proclamation of National Sanctity of Human Life Day has been heralded by National Right to Life as “a wonderful statement of what the pro-life movement is really all about”.
