Hi from NC! I hope you were able to join me yesterday on FGGAM; as yesterday was a Brand New Beginning for me to begin these daily inspirations with Dewey.
It is particularly foggy here in NC this morning. It was dark when I arose and got my 1st cup of coffee and opened my Bible App to read. When it was time to pause to reflect what God is saying to me, I took a break to refill my cup for my 2nd cup of coffee to enjoy a private moment with God before I need moving along in my day. When I returned to the table, I looked up to see the fog that is thick and covering much of the land.
Friends, the Lord put a thought in my heart to share this morning that I believe ties perfectly with the Scripture of Today that I am pondering on. As when it is dark, we can’t always rid our selves of that human feeling of desperation … & loss that tragedy brings to us. And, when light hits the morning, there can still be a fog of pain and hurt that covers the land of your heart. Where we love the most; and pain covers love with such a fog of equality that it is hard to separate the love from the pain, when we lose someone we love, especially when it makes no sense.
As the Lord guides me to say; …and then we will get on with the Verse of the day, but Friends I sense it is important for me to say now that, God is the LIGHT to the darkness; and Jesus is the Hope to our Life.
Yes, pain and fear can be paralyzing, but Jesus understood this very well. He sweat drops of blood to undergo His mission in this world for us, which Jesus did do for us. God does not undermine pain. God instead gives a foundation in Christ to lie your pain on. Friends, God is love and HE is over all things, including death. Jesus has the right to sit beside God and in that place, God does rule over all things, YET, in this broken world, don’t forget where dominion lies (study Genesis). In this world we have troubles. Jesus said, and found written in John 14:1 & 27, “I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not LET your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid; Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me (emphasis mine).”
Let, means we have been given a choice …
For Comfort, Seek the Word of Promises & Hope and remember Faith to live in Hope & LOVE. This is where you experience that LOVE never dies; and in Christ, neither do we. We pass over death to get to eternal life with God in a place; that we are being prepared for here and now. Friends, God knows when we are ready; and He knows how to get our attention to believe. This is real friends. Life and Death are very real in this world. But always remember God is LIFE; and God is LOVE. God is waiting on us all to want to come home to God in our heart, but is also calling us to serve our living God through the pain to experience this peace Jesus leaves.
Friends, I am not without pain. I understand … Yet, Praise God and To God be the Glory, I have been delivered by Grace to thank Jesus when more understanding comes.

We do not have to pray to a far off God who lives out there in the Cosmos; or even from NC to California somewhere. When we believe JESUS died for us, & ask Him to be our Savior & Lord, God moves in our very being of life!!!
God is For, With & In us who have accepted our gift of Salvation from God & Thru Christ Jesus!!
From the death; To the Burial & To the Resurrection, we are a part of God’s plan of The Salvation God gave, because God SO LOVED the world!
DON’T avoid Jesus, because men preach gloom and doom & the end of times! Friends, may I challenge you to seek answers in the Bible for your own understanding. I believe the Bible says it has been the last of times since Jesus has Come! The KINGDOM Come & Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!
God is LOVE / not fear…
Yes, God is a Just GOD and He is strong enough to do as He warns, BUT that fear is parental love and just judgement. God is Love & He is not willing any who belong to Jesus should perish, BUT have everlasting life!
So, in this world we have a mission! To believe & to Love & to trust in God who is working all things together for the good to them that love God and for the benefit of being transformed into the image …
“For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us _____, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: BUT we had the sentence of death in ourselves, THAT we SHOULD NOT TRUST IN OURSELVES, BUT IN GOD WHICH RAISETH THE DEAD: (2 Corinthians 1:8-9 KJV).”
“THE LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
HE maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
HE leadeth me beside the still waters.
