Frank Haley News Director at KDAZ AM730 in Albuquerque is reporting the following news stories..the first one hits close to home for me and Sharon….we live in Taylor Ranch. Crime has no zip code.

An Albuquerque woman arrived at her house  from work and came  face-to-face with a burglar and gun pointed at her last week.

That happened in the Taylor Ranch area, where the homeowner said she arrived to find her bedroom light on. When she entered, a man was pointing a shotgun in her direction and demanding that she leave if she didn’t want to be shot.   She   ran to a neighbor’s home where she waited for police. She later found her back door broken – and her shotgun, iPad and about $400 in gift cards  and family jewelry stolen.

The severe crime wave continues………..

Brazen thieves were caught on video ramming a truck into an Albuquerque business and the owner of Renegades Classics near Paseo del Norte and I-25  said thousands of dollars in merchandise were taken. The owners  were in the process of filming a commercial and camera equipment was also taken from the store,  worth about $5,000.

This  is the second time Renegades Classics has been broken into. They  are asking anyone with information to contact the Albuquerque Police Department.

An Albuquerque man is sitting behind bars after police say he stole from a gas station and then tried to get away.

38-year-old Jaeson Wilson stole beef jerky from the Circle K at Central and Wyoming.

When police arrested him outside with a broken down car, they   found meth and heroin in his pants.

Wilson claims he bought the pants and that the drugs were not his.  He remains in jail.

Crime as no zip code…..we are so sadden by this report out of Edgewood, just to the east of Albuquerque.
