Good morning dear readers of FGGAM! I know I have missed sharing here @ For God’s Glory Alone Ministries on a daily basis recently; and if you wish to see those Daily Devotions on my Hope in Today Ministries Instagram, please join me; and I believe there is something waiting for you, because of whom I serve.
However, this is the day the Lord has made to call Today, so we will move forward, not backwards in Hope in Today Ministries; as I am grateful to reach you through this wonderful ministry of FGGAM!
The Spirit of the Lord touched my heart to say to you Today: There is an Excellent Way to have an Excellent Day; Follow Jesus!
Today’s Devotion had me reading all through the Scriptures; and if I can encourage you in one thing today, that would be to catch up on your Bible Readings! Wow Wee, what revelations will come to you when you hear the Lord’s Voice speak to you through the pages of the Bible; Words of God that are written in the Holy Word of God for us to receive & apply to our life in every Today -as long as God calls it Today!
The message the Lord spoke to me Today is to rise up to a new level in Christ; and let your Light of God’s Love, through Jesus Christ, Shine Today! Hope in Today Ministries Mission is to Shine the Light of God’s Love through Christ Jesus! Sunday, my devotion I shared in Church was about Brokenness; and how God is God through our highs and our lows as we are continuing to grow in our relationship with God! Closer and Closer, nearer to Thee! As I have come to understand, it is God who does the work! Satan wants to stop us; but God calls us to persevere and press on! The Holy Spirit is the ONE of ONE whom convicts; and people will choose to come into that beautiful light of God’s love in personal Obedience; or they will choose to disobey to follow in disobedience further & further from Christ.
How much do you love God?
When we love God and we see a bit of what God knows; This can leave us who love God; feeling broken around the edges, but Do you want your brokenness to mend sooner? How fast do you want to come into that place of Resting faith with God again? Then, my friends, press thru to do what God presses on your heart that your human nature wants to resist the most!
LOVE PEOPLE ANYWAY! We don’t love the sin, but we do believe in the power of the love God has shown to the world through Christ Jesus!
Sometimes, in all honesty, God knows my heart, I would like to just say, not today church; I just would like this day off at a minutes notice. But friends, we don’t have that pleasure in Christ to do as we please, want or desire -IF God is calling us to press through something for a higher calling!
Sometimes, as I am still growing in Christ, I will (not knowingly) allow my feelings to push me along, rarely to hold me back; and in that we will discover that we will become worn out! Friends, emotional service -even for the good of the cause of Christ; if God didn’t call us to fix something, which HE hasn’t; then we can’t fix the something(s) in other people. Only in Christ, we can personally be transformed to change our own mind and heart that we are even more capable of a higher love for others than ever before!

From an emotional human perspective, we can also move into a false sense of humility that we may try not to shine, but prefer to hid in the background? Maybe even because we grow weary and tired? But there is a Spiritual call on a believer’s life, which in the YOKE of Christ Jesus, the yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Dear friends in Christ, The Lord is teaching me that it is His will for us to come up to Jesus another level and realize that we are supposed to Shine the Light of God’s Love through Christ Jesus for God’s Glory. It is so humbling to be loved by God this much!

Today; and I believe this ties with the Hope in Today Ministries, Inc., devotion today; I hope you are encouraged NOT TO give up … on those you love in Christ; neither on God who has SO LOVED the world that HE gave His Son, Jesus, to die and be Risen again; that the world should not perish, but to have everlasting life with HIM.

“Only God knows” is powerful to say and believe! Lord God, can theses dry bones live? And, to have the written answer, in Christ “O Lord God, thou knowest.”

Keeping in mind who Christ is ( READ John 1; Colossians 1; Hebrews 1 NLT TODAY), we need to remember that Jesus did not merely show up on the scene 2,000 years ago.
The Birth, The Teaching, the Miracles…God has met a need of humanity & bridged a gap to God!
The Name, the Spirit, the TRUTH, the LIFE & the Way
The Crucifixion:
