And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, …. Acts 19:11 ESV

But what is God really saying to us to recognize in the way Paul conducted his work for God thru Christ?
…so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.
Acts 19:12 ESV
DID YOU RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WHEN YOU BELIEVED?
In Paul’s travels, he found some disciples…
And he said to them, “DID YOU RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WHEN YOU BELIEVED?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” Acts 19:2 ESV
Into what then were you baptized?
And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.”
And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people TO BELIEVE IN THE ONE who was to come after him, that is, JESUS.”
ON HEARING this,
they were baptized IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.
AND WHEN Paul had laid his hands on them,
THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME ON THEM,
and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying.
Acts 19:3-6 ESV
The message to understand!
“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV).”
Are we recognizable as Paul was?
There were some traveling exorcists… & they tried to use the name of Jesus to do the same work as Paul “by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.” …& this was the response:

But the evil spirit answered them,
“Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, BUT WHO ARE YOU?”
Acts 19:13, 15 ESV
So much is being taught in these lessons we can learn from in Acts!
It is the work of the Holy Spirit who convicts & God does the work, we serve God in a relationship with Jesus Christ!
The difference is KNowing
Our Relationship with Jesus Christ …
not just looking at someone else’s jesus!
See…we can do nothing powerful based on the Name alone…until we have received the power of Holy Spirit!
Then we can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us; according to our purpose by God’s Will on our life.
God is the SOURCE!!!
God is the SOURCE!!! Paul made a point to teach, see I worked! It is written and Paul said, I coveted nothing from people…not silver nor gold…revealing the pureness of Paul’s relationship with God (emphasis mine)!
After the uproar ceased, … What was the uproar all about? What happened? I will leave you to your personal study … & I will continue my personal studies in these Chapters of Acts as well.

Paul experienced the Holy Spirit of God in a way that he was told by God that …
Eutychus still had life in him… Paul preached long enough that the youth fell asleep & fell 3 floors down …
We need to know and believe in the love God has for us
& … what happened!

Friends, like we always say,
If we get this, we will never be the same!
What is God saying to us through His Word today? How are we responding to the situations around us to help the weak? Who do you say the weak are? How do the evil spirits recognize who you are? Based on Holy Spirit living in you, by whom you can say to the world that Jesus is the revealed Christ, the Son of the Living God by revelation knowledge.
OH the Ever-Increasing Wisdom of God ~ Are we giving up and running away, because we are ineffective / powerless in our own nature? Confused? Friends, Praise Be to God, we can really believe God is FOR us, WITH us and IN us through our personal faith in God’s Son, Jesus!
DID YOU RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT
WHEN YOU BELIEVED?
How about you, if Paul were to ask you that same question we read written in the Bible that he asked those 12 ( I believe ) disciples that he met on his travels; What would be your personal answer?

I pray you to be filled with the Holy Spirit believing on Jesus as your Savior and Lord to do the work of the Lord Jesus in His Name, because Jesus is For us, God is IN us and the Holy Spirit of God is with us!
Lean on Jesus! We need to know the Voice of the Lord Jesus to do the Will of our Father.
