Have You Been Down To The River?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Do you need a trip down to the river today? It could be your first trip or you may be back for more. Either way, it’s all good.  A dear friend Facebooked me this song and immediately I loved it. I have been down to the river a few times in my life and it’s all ok. I find myself saying that a lot lately, it’s all ok.

Recently, I was asked by someone close to me, if I was in love. I laughed as I replied, In love with Jesus, and it’s all ok. I wear a double heart necklace that I received for Christmas. I get asked a lot about that too. Aren’t we curious human beings?

Once you have experienced the love of Christ for yourself and have been set free, once you have been to the river, it changes life, it just does. My prayer is that you will come to the river. You can come as many times as you need to. He will always meet you there. He paid the price. Let’s pray:

Father, thank you for paying the price for our sins. Thank you for taking our broken lives and making us whole again. You truly are the potter and we are the clay. Yesterday is gone and our today is bright and our future is in your hands.

Every day is a new beginning and for every person that will talk (pray) with you today all across this globe, they can be washed by the same blood. I have experienced a lot of things in my life, but nothing like being washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Oh, I just love to meet you at the river, Jesus.

You rebuild ancient ruins, set the captive free and put a double heart around our neck. The cross was and forever will be enough. You paid the price for it all. It’s just like celebrating Christmas everyday. So much joy in receiving what you have died for. If only we believe. Amen

Have a blessed day beautiful people. You are loved with an everlasting love. Believe and receive. Yesterday is gone and today is your day.

John 14:6  Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

1 John 4:10 He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Somebody shout I am in love!

P.S. The double heart necklace I received, it was from my granddaughter for Christmas. Thank you Jesus for Maisie Grace. Every time I say her name, I think of you, oh God and your amazing grace.
