Is It Really Pay It Forward Day?
Good Morning beautiful people, what a beautiful day God has given us. The snow is almost gone and the winter is behind us now in Northern Maine. That makes me want to shout all by itself.
As I turned my computer on this morning, my facebook page told me it was pay it forward day, show kindness day. I started to reflect back on a training I went to this past week. I will write about it soon. It was amazing to share a week with some of the most beautiful, kind, gifted people God created. Pay it forward, show kindness day, hmmmm.

I look through my prayer journal once again and ask God Himself to make sure I operate in kindness. People mess up, mistakes are made and as long we are living among imperfect people, we will need to walk in forgiveness and kindness. Since we are not perfect that would mean all of us. If you think you are perfect or pretty close, I dare you to ask God to show you that you are not. Hold on tight, He answers prayer.
If we sow kindness we will reap kindness. God’s Word tells us that we reap what we sow. (Galatians 6:7) It is just the way it is.
My mother died when I was eight years old. I am always so proud to tell anyone that asks about her that she was the kindest woman they could have ever met. Many people have told me that about her. It made me proud to be her daughter and gave me a desire to want to be like her.
God’s Word tells us that kindness is a fruit of the spirit. So today facebook reminds us to pay it forward, be kind. God’s Word reminds us to do this every day. Let’s operate in the fruit of the spirit kindness every day.
Causing people that are losing hope to find it in God once again is priceless. There is nothing we will ever give to people more valuable than the Word of God (Bible) and to show them His love and kindness.
Today, let’s sprinkle kindness everywhere we go. Let’s bring hope to someone that may be losing it. Where are they you may ask? Let’s ask God Himself.
Father, thank you for divine appointments today. Show us someone God that needs a little kindness. Show us someone that needs a little hope. Use us today Father to be your hands extended. Thank you for bringing us together.
Thank you God for giving us eyes to see you at work in the world around us. Thank you for ears we pray to hear what you are saying. May we be obedient to the call to be more like you. Let our lives show the love of Christ and kindness everywhere we journey. Amen? Amen.
